Yay! Happy Spring! Now if only the weather would cooperate like Spring. Oh . . . wait . . . this is the Midwest. It is cooperating like Spring. Time to get the spring planning under way!
Just when you think it might warm up, it gets cold again.
Well, yesterday I got a little overly excited about the prospect of Spring and bought all the seeds for my garden this year. I also bought onion sets.
I didn’t happen to see any seed potatoes yet and it’s way too early to think about tomatoes and pepper plants (those are the only things I don’t grow from seeds).
We had such a cold winter that I know the ground won’t be warm enough to plant for a while, but at least I will be ready when the time comes!
In the mean time there is plenty to do. My yard is full of limbs and sticks to be picked up and I need to order mulch to be delivered and get black dirt for my garden expansion. The ornamental grass also needs to be cut down before the new growth starts. So, I think I will have plenty to keep me busy while I patiently wait for the real Spring.
