What Does It Mean To Stay Strong And Carry On?

I loved this the first time I read it.  I have had this posted on my refrigerator for years.  I love this because it gives hope to those who have courage to step outside their comfort zone and put themselves on the line risking everything.

A Little Kindness Goes A Long Way In Lasting Emotional Health

It’s so easy to criticize each other without really knowing or understanding what’s in another person’s heart or where they have come from or been through in their life’s journey.

I watch the news and see the same thing every day.  Only the names and faces are different.

We are only interested, it seems, if there is a big scandal to bring someone down.  Sometimes even before all the facts are known.

We seem to thrive on watching others fail as if it somehow makes the rest of us look better even though the willingness to risk the unknown to make a difference is something most people can’t relate to.

I wish for a world where we placed as much importance on each other as we do our smart phones.

Where driving to work didn’t seem like we are racing in the Indy 500.

Everyone seems to be living in a self absorbed bubble with no consideration for anyone but our own personal realities.  But the real reality is, when you’re feeling as though the world has stomped on your dreams you should think about that statement and know that your effort, and your struggles are all worthwhile and do make a difference.
