This has nothing to do with Christmas or New Years, but I happened to come across these pictures on my phone the other day. This is my granddaughter Hannah. And these are our family portraits!
Her birthday was actually in October and here it is December already.
She turned 10 this year and when I found these photos, they just touched me in such a way that I felt compelled to share.
This is Hannah’s mom and my daughter, Jilena.
She would have made a great sixties child all psychedelic looking.

What???? We seem to have grown rabbit ears!
And, ironically, the person who took this picture found this as humorous as Hannah . . . because she, Jennifer, didn’t bother to mention that we had sprouted horns! It was a discovery I made after I got home and looked at these. It’s the quiet ones you have to look out for.
Sassy! Yep . . . I’d say there’s quite a family resemblance right down the line here.
